This is probably the best known form of engineering plastic.

The frictional characteristics and low weight of Nylon 66 result in wear parts with long life which require little or no lubrication.
30% glass filled Nylon 66 offers good dimensional stability over its operating temperature range and out performs Nylon 66 in load capacity and stiffness.

It can be sterilised and used in hot water.
Specially formulated Nylon 66 modified with the addition of MoS2.

This imparts greatly improved self-lubricating properties.
NYLATRON GS exhibits lower friction than unfilled nylon.
Acetals offer low moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness and impact resistance.

Both ACETAL-C and DELRIN grades are similar in their overall balance of properties although each shows some difference from the other in detail.

DELRIN offers slightly superior mechanical properties to ACETAL-C although the latter has a higher continuous operating temperature.
